Survivor’s Discovery Workshop

The Survivor’s Discovery Workshop, led by Isatu Momoh, is a trauma-informed space designed to support survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse and Female Genital Mutilation in their healing journey.

 

Through storytelling, reflective writing, and guided exercises, participants are encouraged to reclaim their voice, rediscover their identity, and build emotional resilience.

 

The workshop fosters a safe and supportive environment where survivors can connect, express themselves, and gain practical tools for ongoing healing.

 

With a strong focus on empowerment, mindset, and community, this workshop offers a powerful path toward transformation and recovery.

FGM Awareness Workshop for Professionals

The FGM Awareness Workshop offers professionals a unique and powerful opportunity to deepen their understanding of Female Genital Mutilation through the lived experience of Isatu Momoh, a survivor and advocate.

 

By sharing her personal journey, Isatu provides valuable insight into the physical, emotional, and cultural impact of FGM.

​

The workshop equips professionals with the knowledge, sensitivity, and confidence needed to engage with affected individuals in a trauma-informed and culturally aware manner.

 

Through open dialogue, real-life context, and practical guidance, participants will leave better prepared to identify, support, and safeguard those at risk of or affected by FGM.

Student's Goals and Inspirations Workshop

This workshop is specially designed for students from disadvantaged backgrounds and those in foster care,with a focus on mindset, aspiration, and self-belief.

Led by Isatu Momoh, who shares her own journey of overcoming adversity, the workshop empowers young people to see beyond their current circumstances and recognise their potential.

 

Through interactive activities, motivational storytelling, and practical tools, students
are encouraged to develop a positive mindset, build resilience, and set meaningful goals for their future.

 

The session aims to inspire hope, boost confidence, and show students that their past does not define their
future they have the power to shape it

Careleavers Resilience and Goals Setting Workshop

Our Care Leavers Workshop is designed to support young people transitioning out of care as they navigate life’s next steps with confidence and purpose.

 

With a focus on identity and personal goal-setting, this workshop empowers care leavers to take ownership of their lives and futures.

 

Participants are guided through practical exercises such as CV building, career planning, and confidence-boosting activities, while also being connected to mentors and organisations that can offer ongoing support.

 

Led with empathy and lived experience, the workshop reinforces resilience, encourages self-belief, and reminds care leavers that they have the strength and potential to create a future that reflects who they truly are.
