OUR STORY

Transformation Talk is a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to supporting and empowering survivors of abuse experiences, careleavers, and students from disadvantage background through motivational workshop.

At Transformation Talk, we build community through unity by creating safe and empowering spaces for care leavers, survivors of abuse, and students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our work is rooted in the belief that resilience is the capacity for change, and that no one’s past should define their future.

We deliver university workshops that explore the impact of poverty, mental health, and systemic barriers on education, helping students challenge limiting beliefs and unlock their potential. We also run empowerment workshops for care-experienced individuals and survivors of childhood sexual abuse and female genital mutilation (FGM), providing space for healing, growth, and self-discovery.

In addition, we offer professional training to raise awareness about FGM, ensuring frontline workers are informed, equipped, and able to support those at risk. Through every session and every conversation, we aim to inspire change, build resilience, and strengthen community.
